Sennheiser Momentum M2 On-Ear headphones are shaped like the vintage and look beautiful. They Looks like a senior ‘Momentum Around Ear’, just only to have a smaller size. The materials are made of Stainless Steel is strong, durable, good flexible. It comes with a cable with Control-Talk to choose between iOS and Android.

The headphones is comfortable to wear, soft pad and tighten, cover all ears impressed me very much. Sennheiser Momentum M2 comes with a small cable that has volume and control button on a digital, which can control the iPod, iPhone and iPad. Personally, I do not like the small cable that come with this headphone because it often curls up not easy recovery Like PK2, but less stiff.

Those familiar with the full-size headphones, and a large cable, they may feel that it is not strong and damaged easily. The advantage is easy to carry and lightweight.

Sennheiser Momentum M2 Sound Quality.

The sound on the Sennheiser Momentum M2 vocals are quite sweet, crept forward a little, smooth and quite warm; does not feel too edgy. I feel like the sound of this, especially if this is a vocal music.

Noise Isolation: For protection against noise from the outside of the M2, I think it's very well done. Although it without Noise Cancelling features, when we try to listen to the public, featuring the voices of people talking loud, we could hear the music better but may need a little more volume than normal.

After burned about 100 hours; Bass declined slightly impact but it was still outstanding and is better balanced sound, the treble’s much better to give details, dimensions; it would be perfect for a song with a lot of detail not suitable rock or hip-hop that focus on impact and dynamic.

For use on mobile and remote microphones of Sennheiser Momentum M2 On-Ear, The microphone is located on the lower than microphone on the iPhone headphone. As we have trials, microphone responded well without picking up the microphone to mouth.

Hifiman HE-500 Best Full size Headphone for audiophile.

Hifiman HE-500 has restructuring of the diaphragm, the resistance, and sensitivity while the main external structure is also like a senior HE-6. HE-500 comes with stock cable that made from speaker wire "canare", which is a small speaker wire that has been adapted for use with headphones HE-500. Its flexibility rather than OFC Cable used in HE-6. The Hifiman HE-500 Full size cable does not make balance connector when compare with Hifiman HE-6 that makes for this.

I was made to match the iPod Photo and iPod Classic immediately to prove the claim from Hifiman that it can drive on Portable. From my test, I can say that it is acceptable (average volumes) for iPod but other devices or player may not be able to drive it.

Hifiman HE-500 Sound Quality. 

My test from have 4 Condition by use two tracks; The Man From God Knows where – Tom Russell, which shows ambient and vibration of the instrument as well; and Regular Pleasures - Patricia Barber to test drum or the depth of the bass. My Condition are;

• Direct connect by Stock wired “Canare 4S6”
• Direct connect by OCC Copper Stock wired that comes with HE-6.
• Connect through ALO RX MKII and “Canare”
• Connect through ALO RX MKII and OCC Copper Stock wired.

Test result.
1. Direct connect from iPod without headphone amp, Hifiman HE-500 provide good impact and very clear bass or even on iPod photo. Sound or voice is fairly, not to the open or airy. It was clear enough; instruments are stacked enough to hear. Treble; different from HE-6 that it’s not bright as HE-6, it may be fit for some and may be less for some. The position of the treble is still workable and not Roll-Off. If you are not serious dimensional sound stage, the quality of the iPod is considered acceptable.

2. The second condition is that I use to replace HE-6 cable instead “Canare”, but it is still direct-connected to iPod. Everything will be clearer, ambiguity of the musical instrument better. The sizes of the bass are clear and Weighty, Tight than ever. If you like softness, Canare 4S6 will be like to you.

3. iPod+ALO RX MKII and “Canare” wire, They make me extremely surprised, I listen “Patricia Barber” and made me almost fall from the chair. It is very clear and most detailed. More bass impact and very very deep than I've ever heard. Kick drum have powerful as I sit in front of the speaker. Sound Stage is better than ever. Vocal and instrument in midrange are more clearly. Overall, Hifiman HE-500 present great sound quality when connect through “ALO RX MKII” headphone amp.

4. iPod+ALO RX MKII and OFC Stock wired from HE-6; It was up to my expectations. Bass continues to impress as ever; deep impact, the distinctive character of the HE-500 is bass, which is smoother and firmer, not blurred. Bass is deep and warm over the GRADO. Mid-range and Treble is fantastic, separate instrument with great detail. You do not feel tired of listening to music.

Hifiman HE-500 Overall:
