Review HiFiMAN RE-400 In-Ear Monitor Best Sound Quality.

HiFiMAN RE-400 In-Ear Monitor Titanium diaphragm.

HiFiMAN RE-400; It was the first IEM in-ear headphones and only HiFiMAN determined to penetrate the market for these types of headphones. It was the code name for the RE-400 Waterline or called RE-400.

If you mention the name of 'HiFiMAN' many people think of headphones planar magnetics-based driver thin film, which features more prominent than Dynamic drivers generally. It is as good as headphones planar their right?

The first thing to ensure is that the RE-400, designed by HiFiMAN (Driver designed and manufactured by HiFiMAN). This HiFiMAN RE-400 IEM headphone is valuable in its own right from the beginning. Personality and voice wherever we have heard from the headphones of another HiFiMAN should be heard in the RE-400 as well. We are fans of full-size headphone HiFiMAN HE-6, and wanted to test its effectiveness.

The body is made of aluminum that have been shape with a lathe well. The position of the left and right earphones as letters L (LEFT) and R (RIGHT) at the point of connection to the headphone cord. We peruse the produce must be said that the production of quality grade A. You must not forget that the production of small to effectively equivalent to large production, it is difficult and challenging. It must be designed to suit the physiology or “Advanced ergonomics” as well.

Dynamic drivers are 8.5 mm; Neodymium magnet; the diaphragm is made of strong and light as titanium which is commonly used to make treble driver or tweeter speakers for home. Like many models of JBL speakers always use a dome tweeter made from titanium.

The cable; it is very light so it is quite sensitive to vibration or microphoenix a little easier sometimes to softly humming which is caused by the vibration of the table or around the object on the touch cable.

Sound Quality; HiFiMAN RE-400 In-Ear Monitor

Sound of HiFiMAN RE-400 has a good detailed midrange, while the striking sound stage wide open, not stuffy. Sound can slip away so far, making it perfect for virtually nothing at all in the dimension of sound. It has almost nothing to comment on the issue of dimension of sound.

HiFiMAN RE-400 provides good detail bass and good impact, no roll back or overwhelming. So it may not be suitable for music lovers who enjoy bass are important. But it's a headphone to listen to music of any genre, except hip hop and even a fun bass. K-pop or dance music bass song that do not to think of anything more fun such as “I Gotta Feeling - Black Eyed Peas” or “Girls' Generation”, We guarantee it Never let you down.

But if you are a pure music-lover, do not like the color so much that I actually RE-400 is capable enough to qualify. It does not very innocent sound or neutral like Heir Audio 4Ai and tone balance. Overall, it would be more transparent than bright.

Even when it was paired with DAC / AMP like SONY PHA-1 or MERIDIAN EXPLORER, that sound from the RE-400 offers superb quality over price. I heard many people say that it is the sound that the audiophile listening needs. I challenge you to listen to music ‘My Live Stories’ new albums of Susan Wong that Audiophile are well-known.  The song ‘Sometimes When We Touch’ the vocal filled with charm; HiFiMAN RE-400 also conveys the dynamic of the drums came out clearly.

I try to listen to the song 'If I Could Sing Your Blue' of 'Sara K.' hires a file via 24bit 96 kHz DAC / AMP Meridian Explorer; the detail of sound like I hear from two speakers. Detailed sound that comes out is clear and sweet, smooth and depth.

Pros:
Dimensional sound, clean, detailed sound worth hearing. Bass do not Boomy too much.
Well listen to all genres, with more prominent vocals and jazz fusion.
Materials and production well overpriced.
Quite comfortable and lightweight.
Cons:
HiFiMAN RE-400  are quite sensitive to vibrations in the form of micro-Phoenix especially when you listen to music in the wind as on the beach.
