Sennheiser Momentum M2 On-Ear headphones are shaped like the vintage and look beautiful. They Looks like a senior ‘Momentum Around Ear’, just only to have a smaller size. The materials are made of Stainless Steel is strong, durable, good flexible. It comes with a cable with Control-Talk to choose between iOS and Android.

The headphones is comfortable to wear, soft pad and tighten, cover all ears impressed me very much. Sennheiser Momentum M2 comes with a small cable that has volume and control button on a digital, which can control the iPod, iPhone and iPad. Personally, I do not like the small cable that come with this headphone because it often curls up not easy recovery Like PK2, but less stiff.

Those familiar with the full-size headphones, and a large cable, they may feel that it is not strong and damaged easily. The advantage is easy to carry and lightweight.

Sennheiser Momentum M2 Sound Quality.

The sound on the Sennheiser Momentum M2 vocals are quite sweet, crept forward a little, smooth and quite warm; does not feel too edgy. I feel like the sound of this, especially if this is a vocal music.

The bass is good bass impact, warm and not muddy. Deed bass is great more Tight than my Sony MDR 1R NC II, has a powerful and not overwhelming. Personally, I like bass on this headphone; it’s awesome, I can listen to music of all types Rock, R&B, Jazz, classic so it was fun listening and overall headphones.

Sound stage did reasonably well, with a wide sound stage. I can image to a piece of music floating around my head.

Noise Isolation: For protection against noise from the outside of the M2, I think it's very well done. Although it without Noise Cancelling features, when we try to listen to the public, featuring the voices of people talking loud, we could hear the music better but may need a little more volume than normal.

After burned about 100 hours; Bass declined slightly impact but it was still outstanding and is better balanced sound, the treble’s much better to give details, dimensions; it would be perfect for a song with a lot of detail not suitable rock or hip-hop that focus on impact and dynamic.

For use on mobile and remote microphones of Sennheiser Momentum M2 On-Ear, The microphone is located on the lower than microphone on the iPhone headphone. As we have trials, microphone responded well without picking up the microphone to mouth.

If you mention the name of 'HiFiMAN' many people think of headphones planar magnetics-based driver thin film, which features more prominent than Dynamic drivers generally. It is as good as headphones planar their right?

The first thing to ensure is that the RE-400, designed by HiFiMAN (Driver designed and manufactured by HiFiMAN). This HiFiMAN RE-400 IEM headphone is valuable in its own right from the beginning. Sound of HiFiMAN RE-400 has a good detailed midrange, while the striking sound stage wide open, not stuffy. Sound can slip away so far, making it perfect for virtually nothing at all in the dimension of sound. It has almost nothing to comment on the issue of dimension of sound.

HiFiMAN RE-400 provides good detail bass and good impact, no roll back or overwhelming. So it may not be suitable for music lovers who enjoy bass are important. But it's a headphone to listen to music of any genre, except hip hop and even a fun bass. K-pop or dance music bass song that do not to think of anything more fun such as “I Gotta Feeling - Black Eyed Peas” or “Girls' Generation”, We guarantee it Never let you down.

But if you are a pure music-lover, do not like the color so much that I actually RE-400 is capable enough to qualify. It does not very innocent sound or neutral like Heir Audio 4Ai and tone balance. Overall, it would be more transparent than bright.

Even when it was paired with DAC / AMP like SONY PHA-1 or MERIDIAN EXPLORER, that sound from the RE-400 offers superb quality over price. I heard many people say that it is the sound that the audiophile listening needs. I challenge you to listen to music ‘My Live Stories’ new albums of Susan Wong that Audiophile are well-known.  The song ‘Sometimes When We Touch’ the vocal filled with charm; HiFiMAN RE-400 also conveys the dynamic of the drums came out clearly.

I try to listen to the song 'If I Could Sing Your Blue' of 'Sara K.' hires a file via 24bit 96 kHz DAC / AMP Meridian Explorer; the detail of sound like I hear from two speakers. Detailed sound that comes out is clear and sweet, smooth and depth.

I think it is the highest level of  dynamic drivers in-ear headphone. I assume it is the most dynamic driver technology. no any manufacturer can make any headphones with excellent sound quality as much Dita Brass Limited Edition anymore.

GRADO GR10e Best sound quality in-ear headphone

Review GRADO GR10e small body but great sound.

Although GRADO; they are specialized in producing “Hand Made” such as cartridges to full size headphone. GRADO GR10e made from Japan because GR10e uses a “Driver Moving armatures”, a new technology, which manufacturers claim that even if you use "Driver" single, but it will take a performance like many Driver.

Body of GR10e is lightweight plastic that is colored sand and varnish again a strange feeling when I saw it the first time. If you have not noticed, you might think that it's made of wood.
GRADO GR10e cable has a length of about 130 cm. The cable is even smaller, but it is flexible. Moreover, GR10e cannot change the cable.

GRADO GR10e Sound Quality.

For GR10e that I bring this review, I have already managed to burn more than 200 hours, which would be sufficient.  Normally, I regularly use headphones to listen to all day, every night, and it was GRADO RS1e. So I will be familiar with the sound of RS1e enough. When the time to replace the headphone each time, I will be fine-tuning my ears for some time in order to cut out the bias. However, this symptom does not occur to GRADO GR10e even oppressed, which create surprising to me.

Bass that will produce sharper and clear, Bass lovers will love these headphones. It also tightens and good impact.

Mid-range sound of ‘GR10e’ is similar to the full size headphones almost entirely. Vocals will be charged to the front, funny, temper tantrums than mildly. It is important to pursue from the midrange to treble, I recognize it's delicate and very smooth than I expected. Every time I listen to heavy Rock that focus on guitar solo; it is more fun.


Treble: When I said this, many people may not appreciate it. Because they think the treble sounds is sharp and Edgy as the sound of the original character GRADO past. But No! Though the treble that come along ‘Colored’ but it not piercing, nature of the sound, no sharp edges. Overall it have very bright and round sound quality.

Sound Stage; I assume it is the strength of GR10e. Almost unbelievably small headphones to Sound Stage is a clear and wide enough. The music is pretty far off the head, not lying behind the neck or middle head.

Overall
If you like the headphone that features sound monitor and not colored, I suggest you look over the GR10e headphones. But if you are a 'Music Lover' focuses on listening to music, having fun and like melodies, I say that GRADO GR10e was innovation of music ever.

Review Hifiman HE-500 best performing planar magnetic Full size Headphone.

Hifiman HE-500 Best Full size Headphone for audiophile.

Hifiman HE-500 has restructuring of the diaphragm, the resistance, and sensitivity while the main external structure is also like a senior HE-6. I think it also maintaining weight, and exposure of the wearer to remain the same. HE-500 comes with stock cable that made from speaker wire "canare", which is a small speaker wire that has been adapted for use with headphones HE-500. Its flexibility rather than OFC Cable used in HE-6. The Hifiman HE-500 Full size cable does not make balance connector when compare with Hifiman HE-6 that makes for this.

I was made to match the iPod Photo and iPod Classic immediately to prove the claim from Hifiman that it can drive on Portable. From my test, I can say that it is acceptable (average volumes) for iPod but other devices or player may not be able to drive it.

Hifiman HE-500 Sound Quality. 

My test from have 4 Condition by use two tracks; The Man From God Knows where – Tom Russell, which shows ambient and vibration of the instrument as well; and Regular Pleasures - Patricia Barber to test drum or the depth of the bass. My Condition are;

• Direct connect by Stock wired “Canare 4S6”
• Direct connect by OCC Copper Stock wired that comes with HE-6.
• Connect through ALO RX MKII and “Canare”
• Connect through ALO RX MKII and OCC Copper Stock wired.

Test result.
1. Direct connect from iPod without headphone amp, Hifiman HE-500 provide good impact and very clear bass or even on iPod photo. Sound or voice is fairly, not to the open or airy. It was clear enough; instruments are stacked enough to hear. Treble; different from HE-6 that it’s not bright as HE-6, it may be fit for some and may be less for some. The position of the treble is still workable and not Roll-Off. If you are not serious dimensional sound stage, the quality of the iPod is considered acceptable.

2. The second condition is that I use to replace HE-6 cable instead “Canare”, but it is still direct-connected to iPod. Everything will be clearer, ambiguity of the musical instrument better. The sizes of the bass are clear and Weighty, Tight than ever. If you like softness, Canare 4S6 will be like to you.

3. iPod+ALO RX MKII and “Canare” wire, They make me extremely surprised, I listen “Patricia Barber” and made me almost fall from the chair. It is very clear and most detailed. More bass impact and very very deep than I've ever heard. Kick drum have powerful as I sit in front of the speaker. Sound Stage is better than ever. Vocal and instrument in midrange are more clearly. Overall, Hifiman HE-500 present great sound quality when connect through “ALO RX MKII” headphone amp.

4. iPod+ALO RX MKII and OFC Stock wired from HE-6; It was up to my expectations. Bass continues to impress as ever; deep impact, the distinctive character of the HE-500 is bass, which is smoother and firmer, not blurred. Bass is deep and warm over the GRADO. Mid-range and Treble is fantastic, separate instrument with great detail. You do not feel tired of listening to music.

Hifiman HE-500 Overall:

Hifiman HE-500 full size headphones are easy to drive, even connect to the iPad. You do not need to find a headphone amplifier to be used with it. Even amplifiers for speakers can also use it as well. But if you are serious about sound quality, choosing an amp and a good quality stock cable, it gives a sound performance clearly improved.

It is therefore appropriate to people who enjoy the use of amplifiers, People who enjoy changing stock cable and cabling for people who like to discover the hidden track of favorite CDs. Hifiman HE-500 Outstanding overall performance for audiophile.
